Answer: Our services are cash pay, but as a courtesy to our clients we can provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Billing insurance for Restorative Nutrition patients would require more administrative staff, lower reimbursements, and less time spent with patients.

Answer: There is a primary focus on autoimmune disease, but you do not need to be diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to become a client. In fact you do not need to have an autoimmune disease to be able to become a client.

Conditions and Symptoms Treated:

  • Gastrointestinal Distress – including IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Colitis, Crohn’s Disease, Bloating, Gas, Constipation and/or Diarrhea
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Dermatitis and Eczema
  • Water Retention (feeling puffy and unable to lose stubborn weight)
  • Inability to Lose Weight Despite Healthy Lifestyle
  • Autoimmune Diseases
  • Neurotransmitter Balance

Answer: This varies from person to person depending on the symptoms, health condition, severity, type of nutritional intervention needed, and what action plan we decide upon. Ideally clients should be able to commit to 3-5 sessions spanning over the first few months of intervention. The overall goal is to equip you with the tools you need to steer your own health!

There are times when symptomology doesn’t always reflect underlying disease progression, especially in the case of autoimmune disease. Additionally, there could be things happening at a biochemical level in your body that are not reflecting at the surface (your symptoms). In these cases, you may just need a bit more information to steer you in the right direction to support staying in balance and in optimal health. That’s the benefit to tailored and targeted nutrition interventions.
